The Exchange Project (TXP) runs on fuzz-drenched guitar, gritty driving bass, apocalyptic drums, and vocals that slide from soulful baritone to full-throttle rock 'n' roll snarl quicker than a blink of a bloodshot eye.
The band took shape during the pandemic, when Tom (guitar) and Patrick (bass) started tearing through classic rock covers in a basement. They brought in Omar (lead vocals) and turned their attention to original music — drawing on shared obsessions and deliberate differences. When Pablo locked in on drums, the lineup was complete and the DC rock scene had a new problem to deal with.
The Exchange Project reflects the band's cross-continental roots — Texas, Ohio, Venezuela, and Chile — four different backgrounds colliding into one sound. Music as common ground. Music for the end-times.
TXP is actively recording and playing live, with an ever-growing catalog of original music and no intention of slowing down.
